  • Use the current climate norm (1981-2010) as a base period for calculating anomalies.

  • The final report will use British English.

Figure Preparation

  • Please prepare a high-quality eps (preferred) or pdf version of your figure for the printed report.
  • Please also prepare a version of your figure in png (preferred) or jpg format for display on the wiki and/or the online atlas.
  • Each reanalysis dataset has been assigned a specific colour as defined in the table below (see also ColourTables (code snippets) for loading this colour table in PYTHON, IDL, NCL, and DCL).
  • Some sample figures are shown below.
